Benalla Street Art Festival Advisory Committee

The Benalla Street Art Advisory Committee was formed in 2023 to reinvigorate street art in Benalla, successfully delivering a renewed Festival in March 2024.

The Advisory Committee is a key driver of the Benalla Street Art Festival from 2024 to 2027 (BSAF).

Benalla Rural City Council is currently calling for nominations from community members who would be enthusiastic to join the Committee and contribute their skills and energy to realise these major events. Beneficial skills would include:

Strategic Planning
Community Engagement
Business Liaison
Sponsorship and Grants
Marketing and Promotion
Volunteer Recruitment
Events Management
Administration

2024 Benalla Street Art Festival - Curator message

I am thrilled to curate an event that promises a dynamic shift towards invigorating Benalla’s local economy.

Focused on Bridge Street East, our murals aim to breathe new life into the heart of the town. The diverse line up of 15 artists includes international, interstate, regional and Melbourne-based talents, marking a fresh era for our Festival. Witness the transformative power of art as we bring energy, colour, and inspiration to Benalla. Join us in celebrating a new chapter in our town’s cultural journey.
