Message from the curator

Building on the incredible momentum of last year’s Benalla Street Art Festival, where 15 striking murals transformed our streets, this year we continue the journey. In 2025, we celebrate the power of public art with 10 new dynamic murals created live throughout the festival, adding to Benalla’s evolving visual identity.

At the conclusion of this year’s Festival, Benalla will have seen 25 different mural artists bring their work to life since 2024. These large-scale works not only enhance our urban spaces but also inspire community connection, conversation and creativity, making Benalla a more vibrant and inviting destination for locals and tourists alike.

This year’s Festival brings together artists, bold ideas, and immersive experiences, ensuring art remains an accessible and inspiring part of our daily lives.

Whether you’re a long-time supporter or a first-time visitor, we invite you to explore, engage, and be part of the ever-growing artistic movement of the Benalla Street Art Festival.
