KRIMSONE

Rationale

Artwork Title: Peaches

Krimsone explores the internal landscape of anxiety through a deeply personal lens, utilising his friend and fellow artist, Peaches, as the central subject.

This work moves beyond simple portraiture to map the complex, often unseen emotional terrain of nervous tension. By grounding the abstraction in a familiar face, Krimsone makes the intangible experience of anxiety physically manifest.

The composition vibrates with the energy of this collaboration, capturing the quiet intensity of Peaches’ gaze to reflect the weight of persistent worry. Through his signature application of colour and form, Krimsone strips away the exterior to reveal the vulnerability underneath, turning a private moment of struggle into a public, shared dialogue. The work serves as a testament to the power of artistic kinship, demonstrating how one can externalise personal turbulence by projecting it onto the canvas of another. It is a raw, empathetic study that invites the viewer to witness the human condition with honesty and grace.
